As I said up-front, the last three categories are not meant to be comprehensive.
I did once do some research to consider putting the Beastie Boys in a list like this. I came up with some good information about the band's punk rock/hardcore beginnings, but I didn't want to identify them as "a punk band with Jewish members." Off the top of my head, at least one (maybe more) member identifies as Buddhist, and I have blogged about him before on heebnvegan.
