Interview About Undercover Investigations in the Kosher Meat Industry
Jewcy featured a great interview (by Failed Messiah's Shmarya Rosenberg) with PETA undercover investigators Hannah and Philip Schein. The interview delves into the Scheins' Jewish identities as well as their undercover investigations of kosher slaughterhouses and other places. (Click here to read the Forward's article about them from April.)
"Unthinkable things are happening to animals all over the world, right now, because people are paying for them to happen. Our work helps open a window so that people can view these uncomfortable scenes and hopefully reconsider the necessity of their turkey bacon or fur-trimmed coat," say Hannah and Philip.

Well Michael - I'm glad I found your blog. I've decided to go vegan, and I happen to be a nice Jewish girl. I'm tired of searching for ethically raised meat. I don't like the way my body feels when I eat milk products. I am overweight and going to medical school (which is utterly hypocritical). There you have it - I join your ranks!
